Yes the Delphi help says:

Find will only work on sorted lists!

Therefore Names.Sort; should be added after the LoadFromFile call.

Find method of TStringList works only for sorted lists (cause of binary search algorythm that has O(log(N)) complexity), in case of unsorted lists its result isn’t defined. By default TStringList isn’t sorted but you can do it by calling Sort method (underlying algorythm of quicksort has O(N*log(N))) complexity). If you don’t need to search many times IndexOf method will be faster (N complexity but works for any lists).

Usually that means he forgot to check in the include files, but that seems like a simple out. I think Rob might have the right idea with the slash vs backslash or search path.

I imagine Kyle might have a different search path configured for his local environment than what the build machine has.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if only one version of the compiler supports slashes to separate path elements, and the other version requires backslashes. Maybe Kyle only tested his changes on one platform.
